Owyhee Sportsmen aims to achieve long-term protections for this unique landscape and ecosystem by working cooperatively with ranchers, hunters, anglers, Tribes, local governments and state and federal resource management agencies on new laws or policies that preserve traditional uses of the land.

How Biden Can Start Protecting the Environment

Biden can shore up the Antiquities Act, which Trump weakened in 2017 through an energy-friendly executive order. He can halt construction on the border wall and permanently protect ANWR, along with other fragile places like Arizona’s Great Bend of the Gila National Monument, Alaska’s Bristol Bay, and Oregon’s Owyhee Canyonlands.

With hunting, fishing and other outdoor equipment selling like never before and increased interest in getting outside, it’s clear we have much to gain for our personal and economic well-being by safeguarding Oregon’s wild lands and rivers.
